PicoSeq has been selected as one of 16 companies to receive a grant in the second phase of the Concours Mondial de l’Innovation (Worldwide Innovation Challenge). At an award ceremony at the Elysee Palace today, PicoSeq was one of just 3 companies to receive the award in the field of ‘Personalised Medicine’ (one of the 7 categories in the challenge). The award provides PicoSeq with a substantial grant to support R&D activities over a two year “de-risking phase”. Subsequently, there will be an opportunity to apply for a third, larger, “commercialization” phase. Gordon Hamilton, CEO commented, “We are delighted to be part of the next phase of this prestigious programme to support innovative new companies. This will help us to significantly accelerate our development and commercialisation activities”.
